Don Robinson, OD

He has presented scholarships to 6 local high school students. In the past for seven years, he has supported his friend, Bill Laskey (former S.F. Giant pitcher), by sponsoring and participating in the Child Abuse Prevention Golf Tourney. In 1998 and 1999, he sponsored the event personally ( a commitment of $10,000 each year).

itEYEWEAR will sponsor many future fundraising community events. In September of 1999, Dr. Don opened his Redwoodshores office. It soon became too large to handle and he added staff and a new doctor to the fold. As of September 2001, the shores office has outgrown the size of the Millbrae office and is expanding exponentially. In 2005, he moved the Millbrae practice to South San Francisco to pursue the biotech community.

Dr. Robinson has become a research consultant for contact lens companies and is currently a consultant for synergeyes hybrid contact lens company.

He serves as Bay Area Administrator for Vision Source!, a network of 1700 offices and 2250 doctors in North America. Vision Source doctors are sole providers of itEYEWEAR.

Dr. Don is an avid racquetball player and traveler ( especially cruises). He works seven days a week, but takes 13 weeks off for vacation, business travel, and resort golf.

His wife, Hope, works by his side on all these activities. She manages itEYEWEAR, and is the Vision Source Representative for the Bay Area. He has two children: Rebecca, a teacher who recently relocated to New Orleans, and Devin, a class action attorney in Portland, Oregon.
